Hey ladies!

I am getting so used to the spring sunshine! I know it's a bit chilly but it's so much easier to hop out of bed when the mornings are bright. Are you feeling the spring thing too?
Today is a busy day for us. Corina and Steph are currently on their way to our fashion shoot, which I think is gonna be gorge. All I can say is that it's indoors and that the location is very old, and very pretty. Ooh! Apart from that, we are really getting stuck into this issue and I think I have our cover sorted. Touch wood!

Wassup KISSettes?!

So, have you had a chance to pick up the new issue yet? I must admit it's one of my faves! I didn't want to give too much away yesterday but it's already been discussed on our Bebo (Bebo.com/KISSmagrox) so I guess I can tell you that Justin Bieber won our 20 Hottest Guys poll. I was so shocked! He might be new to the biz but he won by a landslide. And my crush R-Pattz only came in at No.6! Oh well, guess the people have spoken!
Have you guys any plans for the weekend? I have a birthday dinner with one of my BFs tonight (HAPPY BIRTHDAY CIARA!) and I think I'll take advantage of this lovely sunshine in the park on Saturday. Whatever you do, have a wonderful weekend!

Today is a GREAT day!

Hello ladies. What's new? Last night myself, fashion ed Corina, former art director Dillon and my friend Aine won a table quiz! Can you believe it? We were so excited! We won tickets to see Ricky Gervais and Urban Outfitters vouchers. Team Lethal Quizzle is the best! And today we got some AMAZING news - our sales figures have been announced and we're up on last year. Considering the recession, this is totes unexpected and most excellent. And you know who I have to thank? YOU! Yep, you, our amazing, loyal readers. Could you *be* any better? Nope. I love you ALL!

Happy Pancake Tuesday!

So, what do you like on yours? I love Nutella, maple syrup or sugar 'n' lemon. Am hearing brilliant dessert ideas like wrapping a Mars bar in a pancake and microwaving it for a minute. Srsly, I drool just thinking about it. Not a HUGE fan of savoury crepes, but they do make them good in Lemon on South William st Dublin 2. Are you giving up anything for lent? Last Blog of 2008!

Hey ladies. Yep, it's true... this will be my last blog of 2008! As I mentioned earlier I'm off to India to get some sun (and maybe swim with elephants) so I won't be back in KIS Towers until 5th of January 2009. Wow that feels like miles away! We're off to have a little party now so from me, Nathalie, Corina, Pam, Vicki, Sharon and Ciara we'd like to wish you all a very happy Christmas and an amazing new year. Spend lots of time with your friends, cut your family some slack and make sure to squeeze in some r 'n' r between all those nights out, yeah? Okay, I'm off to do my party piece. See you all in 2009!

Xcellent Weekend

Hey ladies. How are y'all? Good weekend? I'm guessing everyone watched X Factor. Do you think the winer was deserving? I was surprised Eoghan didn't get into the last two but I am glad Alexandra won. I thought she sounded the best on the night and woah, she totally held her own with Beyonce. I know lots of you were rooting for Eoghan but he's only 16, he has a bright future ahead of him. My weekend was good (X Factor being the high point). I went home to my family for "Christmas dinner". You see, I won't be at home for Christmas (I'm going to India) so my mum made a special dinner which was yum. She did forget the Christmas crackers until we were almost finished but, hey, that happens every year even on the big day! On Sunday I went out for dinner and visited some friends. Did anyone see the Peter Kay Pop Factor thing? Hilarious! So since this is my last week in Dublin before 2009 I'm doing a lot of meet 'n' greets. Tonight I'm having dinner with my two best friends from home and tomorrow I'm doing the same with my college friends. Yum yum I can't wait! So you guys are getting your holidays soon, right? Yay for holidays!

Big Issue

Hey ladies. So our MASSIVE Jan/Feb issue is out today. Blake Lively is on the cover because Gossip Girl is coming to TG4 in January. I so can't wait! But I can't talk about that right now. The reason? I saw Twilight last night. Oh. My. God. What a movie! Our screening was full of die hard fans and boy did they love it. And so did I! Robert Pattinson is so amazing I can barely type! I think I'll start moving things around our March issue so I can fit in some posters. What do you think? Email me (sarah@kiss.ie).

PPAI Awards

Hey everyone. We are all SO tired today because we hit up the PPAI awards big style last night. We all had a brilliant time. Unfortunately we didn't win anything this year, although we were THRILLED when we discovered that KISS was a finalist for magazine of the year! Can you believe it? We lifted the roof when it was announced! unfortunately we lost out to U magazine but I'm being honest when I say it was deadly just to be nominated. It was really cool to see a room of 400 industry peeps from all over the country looking at our Holly Willoughby cover and clapping. Surreal! Me, Corina and Nathalie are going to a beach party and Xavier Rudd gig tonight compliments of the GORGEOUS Thinkhouse pr peeps. I'll let you know how we get on on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend!
